****************
Her car pulled up in front of a heavily decorated house a few blocks over and we both gazed in amazement at the big turnout. There had to be at least a hundred people coming in and out of the house. Skeletons, witches, goblins, trolls, fairies and kings and queens all gathered in small groups on the front lawn or went inside for some drinks as loud music bounced off the darkness of the night.
“Let’s go.” She said.
She reached for the doorknob, but I stayed put.
“Aren’t you coming?” She asked.
“I look ridiculous.” I said.
“No.” She insisted, “You look hot, now let’s go.”
She got out and after gathering my courage, I got out as well. The evening air brushed up lightly against my bare chest as I repositioned the waistband of the skull-printed underwear – yes… she somehow talked me into wearing only underwear. Why the hell did I let her talk me into this?
She walked over to me and handed me a Jack-o-Lantern which I inspected for a moment with scrutiny.
“To round off your look.” She said smug.
“To round off my look?” I asked with a chuckle, “Sarah, I’m naked.”
“No you’re not.” She insisted, “Your ass and your junk look hot in those undies.”
She hooked her arm into mine and then we made our way towards the house. I tried my best to hide my insecurity with a smile and just prayed I didn’t see anyone I knew; and right off the bat one of my co-workers, who was dressed as a minion, walked by and greeted us. I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath – this was going to be a loooooooong evening.
“Where did you get this pumpkin anyway?” I asked. Maybe small-talk would distract me.
“From your neighbour across the street.” She said merrily.
“The creepy guy?” I asked shocked.
“Yeah.” She said, “He had way too many decorations in that small yard of his.”
As we walked over to the first group of people standing on the lawn, my eyes caught the sight of a Roman soldier coming out of the house and for a brief moment our eyes met. Sarah was talking, but I didn’t hear a word she said; it was as if time slowed down to a crawl and all I could see was the Roman with his dark brown hair, his rugged chest and chiselled jawline walking towards us. He smiled at me and just as I was about to smile back, Sarah struck me in the side with her elbow.
“Ouch.” I groaned.
“Are you listening to me?” Sarah asked.
“Yeah, sure.” I said, “Potato salad will be nice.”
“What?” She asked as I searched for the soldier.
He was gone. Where could he have disappeared to? My eyes searched the crowd of costumes, but couldn’t find him again.
“What’s with you?” Sarah asked.
I turned to her and faked a smile.
“Nothing.” I said, “Do you want a drink?”
She nodded and I unhooked my arm from hers as a Barbie doll came up to her and greeted her.
“I’ll go get us a couple of beers.” I said.
She nodded again and then got into a conversation with Barbie about something I couldn’t really care about. I searched the crowd outside as I walked towards the house, but didn’t spot the Roman again. When I got inside, I asked someone where the kitchen was and he directed me two doors down the hall.
The hallway was long as hell and was decorated to look like it too. The first door swung open and a man stumbled out with a giggling girl in his clutches. They apologized for almost bumping into me and then the two, who were dressed like Bonny and Clyde (or a gay couple), stumbled down the hallway towards the party again.
I walked down the hallway until I got to the second door and when I opened the door I was met by the firm buttocks of a man bending over and I realized I was in a bedroom.
“Oh my.” I gasped in embarrassment, “I’m so sorry.”
The man straightened himself as I closed the door and I saw it was the Roman.
“Wait.” He said and gestured with his hand.
“I thought this was the kitchen.” I said humiliated.
He smiled at me as he pulled up his quilt-thingy and turned to properly face me. Geez, he was even more handsome up close.
“I saw you earlier.” He said in a sultry voice, “I’m Steven.”
His voice was enough to scramble all my hormones and gave me an instant boner – which I hoped to God was pressed down by my tight fitting undies.
“I’m Horny.” I mumbled.
“What?” He chuckled confused.
“I mean, I’m Harry.” I said even more mortified.
He smiled and I felt my heart sink to my groin as he held out his hand.
“Nice to meet you.” He said.
I licked my dry lips and shook his manly hand as my eyes traced the outlines of his chest muscles with sheer lust. I don’t know what came over me, but I wanted him there and then and wasn’t really hiding my desires which were evident from my flustered face.
***************
“I haven’t seen you before.” Steven said.
“I don’t get out much.” I said.
He nodded and then said, “That’s a shame. You should get out more and socialise.”
I don’t know why (probably the tone of his sexy voice), but I wanted to agree to everything this man said or suggested. He could ask me to cut off my hand and I’d do it just because I was enticed by him.
“Yeah.” I said shyly.
“You wanna sit for a moment?” He said and nudged at the bed, “Talk for a while and get to know each other?”
Just stay calm.
I was just a bundle of nerves. It’s not every day a hunky man like him showed interest in a guy like me. I nodded and followed him over to the bed where we sat down on the edge. He turned to me and smiled – a smile that said he wanted to do more than simply talk.
He inched closer to me and then laid his hand upon my thigh – which made my dick twitch into an instant boner again. I tried to calm myself and steadied my shallow quick breathing and licked my lips again.
“Do you believe in destiny?” He asked.
I nodded and got completely lost in his eyes which were as deep as the blue ocean.
“When I saw you…” He said with a smile and then paused, “I knew I wanted to be with you forever.”
Those words sent a cold chill down my spine and then a warm tingling sensation arose from my stomach. The man just met me and he wanted to be with me forever. Was this some kind of ploy to get me to have sex with him?
He inched closer and his hand moved closer to my crotch, but his eyes kept their stare into mine. He seemed completely taken with me.
“I don’t want to come on too strong.” he said, “But I just know we’re meant to be together.”
What could I say? The man was proclaiming his deepest reverence for me and all I could think of was having sex with him right there and then. No matter how hard I tried to concentrate, all I could think of was his naked body grinding up against mine as he entered me.
I took a deep breath and stared at him as he leaned in closer for a kiss. Our lips met and I allowed his tongue to enter my mouth as his hands started exploring my body. Now, I know that you want me to get into the dirty details of everything, but I’m not going to. This not that kind of story, but I will confirm that we had sex that night… and every night since then. You see, I think we were meant to meet that night. It was our destiny, just as it was my destiny to go to that stupid party.
Steve and I have been together for nearly two years and just last month during a perfectly planned picnic he got down on one knee and popped the question. I’m not one for romance, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry a bit. I said yes of course. We didn’t set a date for the wedding, but we both decided that it had to be as soon as possible. I always joked with him that putting a wedding ring on my finger was like branding cattle and I was no man’s property… but that was before I knew how comple
te I could feel with a ring on my finger.
THE END.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
